Andre Halabi-Dentist
Dr. Andre Halabi was born and raised in Irvine, California. Growing up, he loved to play tennis competitively. He attended the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he studied Biology and played on the tennis team. It was during this time that he developed an interest in dentistry, recognizing the parallels between tennis and the field of dentistry. Both require focus for long periods, detailed thinking, and precision. He continued his education at USC Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry, where he also contributed to the community by volunteering at the Union Rescue Mission on Skid Row. Now, as a dedicated dental professional, he enjoys providing a wide range of dentistry services and is proficient in all areas. He is always eager to assist patients in need. In his spare time, Dr. Halabi likes to travel, spend time with family and friends, and work out at the gym, all while being associated with South Coast Dental Center.
Sandra Silva, RDH, Dental Hygienist
A bilingual Spanish dental hygienist raised in Santa Ana, she graduated from the USC School of Dentistry in 2001. Before becoming a dental hygienist, she worked as a dental assistant. Her passion for dentistry services has grown significantly, and she enjoys providing patient care and educating patients about oral hygiene to help maintain excellent oral health. In her free time, she loves to travel, go camping, spend time with family, and appreciates the peace of the ocean and nature, often reflecting on her experiences as a dental professional at South Coast Dental Center.
Gissel Vicente, Dental assistant
Meet Gissel Vicente, one of our amazing dental professionals here at South Coast Dental Center! Gissel loves being part of a dynamic team and contributing to a positive, productive work environment. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, discovering new coffee spots, spending time with loved ones, and practicing self-care.
She’s passionate about personal growth and has big goals—like continuing her education to become a dentist and expand her role in providing top-notch dentistry services. We’re so lucky to have her on the team, and we can’t wait to see where her journey takes her!
Kimberly Silva, Assistant
Meet Kimberly, one of the friendly faces you'll see at South Coast Dental Center! As one of our dedicated dental professionals, she works at the front desk, assisting patients in understanding their insurance benefits and ensuring that everything runs smoothly. You might also hear her cheerful voice when you call our office to inquire about our dentistry services! But Kimberly doesn’t stop there—she sometimes helps in the back, even taking X-rays (which she actually enjoys!). Outside of work, Kimberly loves playing tennis, shopping, designing clothing, reading the Word of God, and traveling. She’s always up for a good adventure! We’re lucky to have her on our team at South Coast Dental Center!
Sanary “April” Gilliam, Dental Assistant
April has been a dental assistant for over 15 years, making her an integral part of the team at South Coast Dental Center. She always puts smiles on patients’ faces and ensures they receive the best dentistry services during every visit, thanks to her excellent customer service. Trustworthy and full of humor, she loves to make all patients laugh. In her spare time, April enjoys working out and watching movies with her husband. If you get to know her, you'll always notice her cool and hip shoes, a testament to her vibrant personality as one of the dedicated dental professionals.
